Are you occasionally turning it on for certain content? Or are you leaving a certain selection on all the time? I'm curious to poll what most users are doing today. I'm watching content on the new AppleTV 4K, with correct settings, so it plays content back at 24fps and not 30 or 60. I thought I was a purist and I've left TruMotion off but Real Cinema on. I now understand after reading many posts that LCD has an inherit blurring between frames due to a slowing panel refresh rate, whereas the OLED is near instantaneous and causes each frame to appear more prominent. (I say stutter/judder because people debate which is really the culprit) I upgraded from a Sony Bravia KDL-500W800B LCD TV. However I seem to be in the category of users who is somewhat sensitive to the stutter/judder on 24fps movies. Gaming on it has been phenomenal with my PS5. I've had my LG C1 for exactly one week today. TruMotion, a feature found on LG TVs, attempts to make a 24 FPS video appear as if it were shot at 60 FPS. Most TV shows and movies are originally filmed at 24 or 30 frames per second (FPS), which our eyes perceive as smooth motion. In simple terms, motion smoothing artificially boosts the frame rate of your video by increasing the number of images displayed per second on your screen.
